Tiffany Mitchell, AuD

Dr. Tiffany Mitchell, born and raised in Seattle, is passionate about patient-focused care. Although her family largely graduated from Washington State University, she earned her doctorate and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Washington. She completed her training at VA Puget Sound Healthcare Systems, primarily working with hearing aids, cochlear implants, balance assessments, and tinnitus counseling. As a student, she worked with audiology outreach for local, national, and international programs, supported two UW speech and hearing research labs, and provided guest lectures for multiple undergraduate courses.

Dr. Mitchell believes that evidence-based practices and honoring each patient’s listening and lifestyle goals are fundamental to patient care. She has over 20 years of experience in audio engineering for live events, including designing and implementing sound systems for nonprofit and corporate events. Her experiences have given her a unique appreciation for speech and room acoustics and how we perceive sound. She is associated with the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

In her free time, she enjoys learning and creating new things. She can often be found reading, sewing, woodworking, and cooking.
