Sara Sommers, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Sara Sommers, AuD, CCC-A, a highly skilled Doctor of Audiology joining our team at Puget Sound Hearing in Seattle, WA. With expertise in diagnostics, hearing aids, real ear measurement, cochlear implants, and tinnitus, Sara brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice.

Sara’s professional journey began at Puget Sound Hearing, where she started her career before becoming the lead cochlear implant audiologist at Puget Sound ENT for three years. Now, she returns to Puget Sound Hearing Aid & Audiology, bringing a valuable blend of experience and dedication to patient care.

A proud member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holder of their Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), Sara is passionate about exploring the link between hearing loss and cognitive function.

Graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 2014 with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Sara pursued her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) at the University of South Dakota in 2019.

Driven by a love for the science and technology of hearing loss and hearing aids, Sara’s favorite part of being a hearing care provider is sharing her passion with her patients. Outside of work, she finds joy in playing with her dogs, tending to her chickens, cooking, playing the piano, crocheting, and creating watercolor paintings.
